Every oil cap mould is engineered with a triple‑point sealing ring profile, validated through Moldflow simulation to prevent leakage under hot‑fill conditions up to 90°C. Conformal cooling channels, produced via 3D‑printed inserts, maintain ±1°C thermal uniformity across all cavities, reducing cycle time by up to 15% and ensuring perfectly round caps.
We exclusively use ASSAB S136 or NAK80 stainless mould steel, vacuum heat treated to HRC 48‑52. This provides exceptional resistance to acidic edible oils and CIP (clean‑in‑place) chemicals. Every mould component is polished to a mirror finish (< Ra 0.025 μm) to eliminate bacterial adhesion and facilitate effortless cleaning.
Our oil cap moulds are available from 24 to 72 cavities, each cavity individually balanced for identical fill, pack, and cooling. The modular core/cavity insert design allows you to expand cavity count or replace a single cavity in under 15 minutes. Combined with a standardized quick‑change mold base, this minimizes downtime and maximizes your production flexibility.
